Team Terresense is a partnership of four companies providing mutual support in the effort to focus on providing forest carbon sequestration survey services to land owners and forest managers. The Team utilizes a complete “turn-key” approach to forestry carbon credit projects, or can supplement on-going carbon credit projects.
The "turn-key" approach draws on the team experience and expertise in the following areas:
- Project Assessment: Certification with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)
- Airborne survey: Multiple sensor integration with a foliage penetrating radar
- Data Visualization: Results presented in a GIS format
- Project Generation and Submission: Sub-Aggregator for 3rd party certified forest lands
- Annual Project Maintenance: Project "Life-Cycle" management
- Project Timber Management: Balanced timber operations to meet forest owner or management needs (thinning, storage, export, trucking, and milling)
- Research and Development: Continuing and dedicated sensor and algorithm development to support ongoing natural resource requirements
The combination of these skill sets, the collective experience and expertise available from the Terresense Team, and the use of new technology provides the forest owner or manager an ability to participate in the carbon sequestration market without the requirement of becoming knowledgeable in all of the necessary and related areas.
